Keep up pressure on the City
to get it to enforce the law
City Hall is now fully aware that operating short-term vacation rental mini-hotels is illegal in San Diego's neighborhoods.
The mayor knows this. The city attorney knows this. The Department of Development Services knows this. Yet, they are not doing anything to enforce it. You should call the Development Services Dept and file a report. Then contact you council district member. You can even take the neighbor to small claims court for disturbing your peace.
Save San Diego Neighborhoods has created a Letter Writing Kit that you can use to quickly write one letter, then send it to many officials. Their addresses are in the kit.
Get, display a yard sign
Yard signs are making a huge difference. They send a clear message to politicians, STVR operators, STVR guests and the general public that blatantly commercial uses in residential areas are not acceptable. It is easy to get a sign for your yard. Just fill out and submit the form below.
