SAN DIEGO, January 15, 2016 – Citizens group Save San Diego Neighborhoods today announced its endorsement of Barbara Bry, a candidate for the District 1 San Diego City Council seat.
October 14, 2015 - Following a morning meeting in which its Code Monitoring sub-committee found the City's proposed draft ordinance for regulating short-term vacation rentals to be deeply flawed, the full Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) decided it could not make a recommendation regarding the ordinance. Instead, the business-oriented TAC voted 6-2-4 to form an ad-hoc sub-committee to review STVR regulations.
San Diego, CA, September 23, 2015 - The Community Planners Committee (CPC) last night rejected City Council-member Lori Zapf's proposal to allow STVR to operate in San Diego residential zones with restrictions and Council member Chris Cates' proposal to allow STVR in residential zones outright.
